Stephen Earel and Barry Wight were appointed as Liquidators of VentureCrowd Nominees Pty Ltd (in Liquidation) on 31 August 2026 following an order by the Supreme Court of Queensland. They were also appointed as Receivers and Managers to all trusts and trust property to which VentureCrowd Nominees Pty Ltd (in Liquidation) is trustee.

We are currently conducting investigations into the investments held and financial positions of the companies and the trusts that we are appointed to. At this stage, our immediate focus is to identify, preserve and secure the trust property.

At this stage, we are unable to provide any comment on the likelihood of any return to creditors or investors.

I have invested in a VentureCrowd unit trust. Am I a creditor?

In most cases, investors are not creditors. Investors hold a beneficial interest in the trust’s assets proportional to the units they own.

How do I lodge my investor or creditor claim with the Liquidators?

Fill out the investor details form (contained on this page) to provide us with all details of your investment or claim. We will then reach out to you directly if we require any further information.

Will I receive my invested funds back?

We are not able to provide any estimate of if investors will receive their invested funds back. We are currently conducting investigations into the investments held in each unit trust. At this stage, there appear to be as many as if not more than 174 unit trusts.

I have a claim against a different VentureCrowd entity. Can I register my claim here?

Stephen Earel and Barry Wight of Cor Cordis have been appointed as Liquidators to the following entities within the VentureCrowd group:

Yes, you should still complete the investor form. Due to the volume of enquiries we have received, and the number of enquiries from trust investors received prior to the liquidation of VentureCrowd Nominees Pty Ltd (in Liquidation), we are unable to confirm that all information received over email has been considered in relation to this administration.

How do I stay up to date with investor updates?

Once we have reviewed the information provided and determined that you are an investor in one of the relevant entities, we will provide you with a code which you can use to access investor updates on the Cor Cordis website.

I have experienced a capital loss. Can Cor Cordis provide me with documentation so that I can report this capital loss in my tax return?

We are not able to assist with this at this stage. If we identify sufficient evidence in the future that your investment will be unable to provide any return, we will be able to issue correspondence at that stage.
