Cor Cordis appointed Voluntary Administrator of MWL Group entities

Daniel Juratowitch and Rachel Burdett of restructuring advisory firm Cor Cordis were appointed Administrators on 29 September 2025 of the following entities:

• MWL Financial Services Pty Ltd (ACN 095 907 574)
• MWL Financial Group Pty Ltd (ACN 145 576 058)
• MWL Accounting Pty Ltd (ACN 005 965 59(collectively, the Companies).

The appointments follow regulatory action by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), which resulted in the disqualification of the director of MWL Financial Services Pty Ltd and the cancellation of its Australian Financial Services Licence. This action was taken in relation to conduct associated with the Shield Master Fund.

The Administrators are continuing to trade the businesses operated by MWL Financial Group Pty Ltd and MWL Accounting Pty Ltd while undertaking an urgent assessment of the Companies’ financial position. All available options are being explored, including restructuring, recapitalisation, or the sale of assets.

Investigations into the affairs of the Companies are underway. A report outlining the findings will be provided to creditors in due course.
